In Berlin in 1881 Heinrich Van Laack, with two partners, began manufactuing minutely detailed, luxuriously exclusive shirts. The label has been around for just over 125 years. It literally "roared" through the flamboyant and opulent 1920s further establishing it's brand and adding the slogan, Van Laack, the royal shirt. Several changes of ownership and style have occurred over the years but there has been one constant - the secret of its success is founded in it's continouous, uncompromising adherence to the brand philosophy - "only top quality fabrics and enormous attention to detail produce first-class products".
