Denim has been around for well over 100 years and was made popular as a mainstream casual wear item rather than work pants in 1952 when Bing Crosby wore a Levi’s 506 jacket and their iconic 501 jeans bashing on the drums and singing with his band. Since then heroes of film and pop culture have worn them. Steve McQueen, Paul Newman, Montgomery Clift, Johnny Cash, Nick Cave, Miles Davis and Jean Paul Belmondo.
