35 YEARS AT THE HELM

Tim Cecil, the great grandson of Henry Buck, our founder, achieved 35 years at the helm of his family company last month, the third managing director and chairman in the company’s 117 year history.

To celebrate this milestone, the company turned on an excellent lunch which was attended by some old business friends, past directors, close family and major suppliers. This was followed by an outdoor barbeque banquet where about 100 staff, ex-staff, friends and suppliers, some from New Zealand and Queensland, came to wish him well for the next 35 years.

For Tim, who hadn’t ever realised he had managed the company for so many years, the whole day was a total surprise.
