Cyclus Bags

Established in 2002, Cyclus is an eco friendly Colombian company dedicated to sustainable living and fair trade. Each product is manufactured by disadvantaged groups (who are paid above the minimum wage). All materials are treated locally in Colombia. The process takes inner rubber tyre tubes (non degradable materials) through a cleaning process to free them of chemicals. Cyclus products are also free from animal products.

Cyclus specialize in converting urban materials, mostly tyre rubber, into an array of eye-catching, waterproof bags, drawing design inspiration from man’s relationship with nature. The line’s core is a collection of 12 rubber messenger bags, including the rectangular Plaza L, featuring two interior pouches (one zip, one button-fasten), a key attachment, and an L-shaped outer flap covering everything but a multi-purpose zip pocket, plus the Carta 2010. Also available are laptop cases.

Starting with a team of two Cyclus has grown to a team of 25 today. Their success has spread beyond Colombia and the company now export to countries such as UK, Spain, Italy, US Canada and Australia. A stunning range of Cyclus designer bags have now arrived at Henry Bucks Australia and are stylish, extremely hard wearing and completely weatherproof.

We are thrilled to be able to sell this product knowing that at the end of the chain both the planet and a small group in Columbia are benefiting.       SHOP CYCLUS BAGS
