Maurizio Baldassari’s was born on the Ligurian coast in Italy and was inspired by his spectacular environment. The sharp scents of the Ligurian vegetation taught him about measure, about the depth of sensations. The wind off the sea taught him about the softness of forms and he saw the horizon as his only limit. In other words he saw no limit. His land, unique in Italy, has given him that style which cannot be invented; inimitable uniqueness; the power of innate taste.

The Baldassari man grew up curious. He sought out a home in which he could express talent and creativity, and found it in Milan, the capital of fashion. The city welcomed him among its talented children, taught him the art of dressing, revealed its secrets to him, gave him the tools of the trade. Here he learnt to touch fabrics and discover materials; here he was able to enrich and then complete the knowledge base he needed to turn talent into excellence.

The Baldassari man set off to discover the world, and the world fell in love with him. He speaks the language of the world, and has always been understood. He has travelled in order to learn and has found himself teaching.

The Baldassari man has projected himself into the future. He has returned to childhood and became a son, brother, friend.
He has always walked free and confident in his own taste. For thirty years he has been joined by other men who, in Milan and New York, London and Shanghai, express the uniqueness of Italian style, and live the contemporary life to the full.
